since i've posted.

yeah, school has taken over me again, as usual. but summer is near and i'll soon have a lot more spare time to post.

Anyway, I'm trying to earn a little extra cash, so I've joined this website where you basically fill out surveys/offers (all free, you don't have to pay any money or enter credit card or anything) to earn money. Also, the more people you refer, the better, because you earn when they earn. It's pretty simple, so if you want to help me out and earn some cash for yourself..

Daffodil Hill.

So my mom, grandma, and I went up to Daffodil Hill today, which is this place a few minutes up the road, and is what it's called. Fields and fields of Daffodils. It's only open a month or so out of each year, when the daffodils are all in bloom.

Anyway, tomorrow we leave for southern California (finally!) and I get to see Jason (finally!), who is staying at his grandparents house in Huntington Beach. I'm reading the book The Other Boleyn Girl right now, which is a really good book. I want to finish it by the time we get down there so we can go see the movie, but the book is almost 700 pages long. Ha. and I'm at 200 something. But I read fast and I've got a 7 hour car drive with my parents tomorrow, so I'm thinking.. it'll happen.

i like new beginnings. i'm beginning this journal completely fresh: i've got no friends, no redirecting my old journal to my new one, none of that. i'm interested in meeting new people, sharing with them and letting them share with me.

so to introduce myself.. my name is emily and i'm sixteen years old and i don't even have my liscense yet. i like to say that's because i'm too busy with school but truthfully its because im a lazy procrastinator about it. i live with my parents and my dog maxy. I envy my older brother who's off at college, enjoying the bliss and freedom of the world, while im stuck in a small town and am dying to get out. Two more years and freedom is mine. i've been dating my boyfriend jason for almost 11 months now. it'll be a year on April 22 (which i recently found out is Earth day. save the trees =]) he's the cheese to my macaroni.

i think i'll leave it at that for an intro because if you read my journal you're bound to figure the rest out anyway... so i'll close this entry with a photo that inspires me.
